Willie Wilson, age 64, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, September 24, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Willie was born July 29, 1957 to Willie Burton and Evelyn Taylor Wilson in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Christian faith; he enjoyed refereeing basketball and softball. He enjoyed Somernites cruises in his yellow 1971 SS Chevelle.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Burton and Evelyn Wilson; brother, David Wilson, Bradford Wilson, Ricky Wilson, Marvin Tucker and a sister, Wynova Wilson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother, James Wilson (Pam) of Somerset; Jimmy Wilson (Pat) of Somerset; Joe Wilson (Linda) of TN; sisters, Cleda Daulton of Burnside; Karen Heath (Gene) of Somerset; Nina McQueary (Aldon) of Russell Springs; Darlene Kennedy (Lewis) of Somerset; Arlene Wilson of Albany, Ky; Betty Matthieu (Jim) of OH; and a very special nephew, Denzil Tuggle and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 12 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Willie Wilson.
