Vola Ray Hall

Vola Ray Hall age 82, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Baptist Health of Lexington.

Vola was born May 17, 1938 in Northfield, Kentucky to the late James Harm Hall and Isbel Freeman Hall.

He was member of Malvin Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, wood crafts, fishing and cherished his family.

Vola was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Julie Hall, brother, James Hall, Jerry Hall, sisters, Juanita Sumpter, Thelma Smith, and Elsie Phelps.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 63 years, Thelma Louise Hall, sons, Anthony (Connie) Hall of Somerset, Paul (Lisa Ann) Hall of Nancy, Ky, daughters, Loretta McIntyre (Anthony) of Georgetown, Ky, Paula (Royce) Cain of White Lily, Ky, brother, Everett Hall of Williamstown, Ky, sisters, Freda Murphy of Somerset, Della Stutler of Ohio, Gayle Hale of South Carolina, grandchildren, Anthony McIntyre, Gavin Hall (Emily), Lance Hall, Matthew Hall.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Baker and Bro. Larry Meece officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
