Eddie M. Super

Eddie M. Super, age 82 of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life to his eternal home on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his home.

He was born November 4, 1936 to the late John Super and Alcie Keith Super in the Keno Community in Pulaski County.

Eddie was a lifetime member of Mt. Union Baptist Church. He served as a deacon at Mt. Union, was an avid hunter and dog trader.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Christine Godsey Super; daughter, Della Rose Lemond; brothers, Frank Super; Dewey Super; Joe Super; Steve Super; sisters; Mary Morrow; Rosie Davis; Nina Haynes; Lillian Haynes; Ann Isbell and granddaughter, Jennifer Super.

Eddie leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Wilma Childers Super; sons, Eddie Wayne Super (Rebecca) of Elwood, IN; Carlos E. Super (Sherry) of Keno Community; daughter, Doris Shinholt (Kim) of Middletown, IN; son in law, Al Lemond of Anderson, IN; step son, Tim Ping (Deidra) of Eubank, KY; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 28, 2019 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Mt. Union Baptist Church.  Funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. with Bro. Perry Dobbs and Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
