David Lee Volz age 82 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, October 26, 2019 at  Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.

David was born September 11, 1937 to the late Alfread Peter Volz and Margaret Elizabeth Lord Volz in Indianapolis, Indiana.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alfred Joseph Volz; Nicholas Frances Volz; John Thomas Volz; sister, Ann Teresa Euliss.

He is survived by his sons, David (Elizabeth) Volz; Nick (Cathy) Volz; Max Volz; daughters, Mary (James) Compton; Judy (Tom) Smith; brother, Steve Jay Volz; grandchildren, Robert Greeson; Jessica (Matthew) McGowen; Maggie Raney (Chad) Branham; Karissa Compton; Jessica (Robert) Campbell; Natasha (Eric) Thomas; Amber Hoskins (David Jones); Erica (Logan) Padgett; Staci (Adam) Gentry; Abby Kirk; Jackson Kirk; Olivia Kirk; Joey Volz; and Parker Volz and several great grandchildren.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

An inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum in Indianapolis, IN at a later date.
