Troy Karriker

Troy Karriker age 55 of Somerset, Ky passed from this life Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at his home.

Troy was born December 7, 1963 in Union, Kentucky to the late Jerry Karriker Sr. and Shirlee Stephenson Karriker.

He was a retired Deputy from Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, and a retired Army Veteran from the Army National Guard D.E.T-2 HHC 1-149th Somerset, Ky.

He married his wife Susan Dalton Karriker on May 18, 1991 in Somerset, Ky.

Troy was a member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, Nascar, golfing, gardening,  especially loved his son and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Troy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Susan Karriker; his son, Troy Karriker II of Somerset; mother in law and father in law, Ellis and Margaret Munsey of Nancy; brothers, Jerry Karriker Jr. of Eubank; Danny Karriker (Joy) of Eubank; Stephen Karriker; brother in law, Michael Dalton (Judy) of Somerset; nephews, Daniel Karriker; Clayton Dalton; Christopher Dalton; nieces, Violet Karriker; Emilee Karriker; Cassidy Dalton; many friends and family.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 with Bro. Sam Crawford officiating.

Pallbearers will be Troy Karriker II, Michael Dalton, Larry Daughtery, Herb Cross, Joe Manning, and Jim McWhorter.

Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Ky.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Diabetes Association, or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
