Montie Virginia Keith Helton

Montie Virginia Keith Helton age 84 of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born April 5, 1935 in the community of Big Creek in McCreary County, Kentucky, to the late Luther Keith and Rosemary Casada Keith.

Montie was a member of the Dixie Bend Baptist Church, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, and singing. But most of all loved her family including several nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Keith and Rosemary Casada Keith; her loving husband, Edward Ebb Helton; her son, Stanley Edward Helton, and twelve siblings.

Montie is survived by her sons, Roger Wayne Helton (Cindy Ann) of Burnside; Bobby Joe Helton (Connie) of Sloans Valley; daughters, Oneeda Shelton (Allen) of Burnisde; Sharlene Helton (Toby) of Burnside; brother, Norbert Keith; sister, Ernie Conaster; sister in law, Clara Valentour; thirteen grandchildren, Chasity, Raymond, Sara, Joseph, Brittany, Joshua, Ashley, Erica, Danyel, Natasha, Jason, Craig and Velinda; and twenty eight great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2019, family at 5:00 P.m. and the Public at 6:00 P.m. in the Chapel of The Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3:00 P.m. in the Chapel of The Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hammond officiating.

Burial will be in the Sloans Valley Cemetery.
