Hay, Jr, age 59 of Somerset, Kentucky and formerly of Allendale,
South Carolina, passed from this life on Sunday, March 12, 2017
at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
James was born
on February, 28, 1957 in Allendale, South Carolina to the late
Mr. James Hay, Sr. and Mrs. Ethele Dunbar Hay of Allendale,
He was a retired
laborer at Eagle Hardwood of Somerset.
He was married to
Patricia Lucille Gilmore Hay in Somerset, Kentucky.

Cowan and Mary Gaines of Somerset.

One Brother; Larry
(Kimula) Hay of Allendale, South Carolina and a Sister; Ethele
(Harry) Maner of Allendale, South Carolina.
grandchildren; Shameka, Heather, Taevon, Christian, Andre,
Gabrielle, Gabe, Kisean, Na’zari, Quintin, Sophia, Aubreya,
Audreaya, and Danniebell, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts,
Cousins and Friends.
The family wishes to extend a special
note of gratitude to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital staff
of the ICU unit and NECU unit especially Nurse Phobia and Dr.
Visitation for Mr. James Hay will be
on Friday, March 17, 2017 after 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of
Southern Oaks Funeral Home
will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of
the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bishop Eric Barnes,
Interment will be
in the Serenity Garden of the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in
charge of the arrangements.
