Darrell E. Baugh

     April 15, 1932 - February 16, 2016

Darrell E. Baugh, age 63, of Nancy, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital 

Darrell was born on April 15, 1952, in Somerset, to Amos and Margaretta Anderson Baugh.  He worked for years at Tecumseh Products Company, in Ferguson.  Darrell was a fisherman and hunter.  He loved old cars and enjoyed taking them to car shows.  Darrell was an honorary member of the Faubush Fire Department.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Williamson Baugh; his mother, Margaretta Baugh; their sons, Jason (and Brandi) Baugh, and Anthony (and Renea’) Baugh, both of Nancy; his sisters, Sharon (and Ronald) Dye, and Mary Ann Wilson, both of Nancy; his granddaughter, Nicole Baugh; his step-grandchildren, Ashley Brown, T.L. Brown, Chloe Brotherton and Sydney Phelps; his step-great-grandchildren, Haelie Brown and Brooklyn Brown; a special brother-in-law, Gary (and Brenda) Williamson, of Nancy; a special sister-in-law, Jennell Edwards, of Somerset; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Harrison, Jamie Wilson, Deanna Wilson, Chris (and Julie) Williamson and Amanda Pittman.

Darrell is preceded in death by his father, Amos Baugh; his father-in law and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Martha Williamson; his brother-in-law, J.W. Wilson; his grandparents, George and Beatrice Anderson and Killis and Ada Baugh; and his nephew, Stephen Ard.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016, after 6:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, at 12:00 noon, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Fisher and Bro. Garland Wilson officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Gideons Memorial Bible Plan.

The Baugh family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation for their excellent service.
